The best way to preserve your own natural beauty is to use these 100 % natural concoctions. Our ginger skin crème recipe will lovingly restore lustre to damaged skin.

Ginger Skin Crème

Ginger restores radiance and natural beauty to skin, and oil soothes tired, damaged skin. Use these quantities for normal skin or double it for dry skin sufferers.

1 inch piece of fresh ginger
1 teaspoons light sesame oil
1 teaspoons apricot kernel oil
1 teaspoons vitamin E oil
¼ cup cocoa butter

Preheat oven on low.
Finely grate the ginger just enough so that you have about 1/8 teaspoon of ginger liquid.
To obtain the ginger liquid, squeeze the freshly grated ginger into a small bowl.
Place all the ingredients in a glass bowl or container and heat in the oven until the cocoa butter is melted and the oils are combined.
Pour into a clean, dry container and store in a cool dry place such as a cupboard.
You can add a few drops of orange or other essential oil for a nice, scented twist.

Honey Lavender Body Bath

3 tablespoons dried lavender flowers (Found in the spice section of health stores)
1 1/2 cups cream
1/3 cup honey

Process lavender flowers in a blender until they are a fine powder.
Whisk the lavender powder, milk and honey in a glass bowl and transfer into a jar.
Before use, shake the jar and pour half of the mixture into a running bath.
Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
This quantity makes enough for two baths.
