Mineral makeup has and continues to be a good alternative to other types of makeup on the market. It is important for you to know what is in your makeup products before you buy, as it could cause you to have a reaction.

Some makeup companies will use different lines of ingredients and make pure quality products, whilst others will use as less as possible and cut corners to save money.

Mineral makeup's consist of different ingredients than your everyday makeup. Foundations, blushers and bronzers will consist of finely ground minerals such as Mica, titanium, zinc oxide, dioxide and iron oxides. Eye colours will include those things as well as serecite and kaolin clay and concealer will include most of the minerals mentioned above. Depending on what makeup effect is trying to be achieved will depend on what mineral product is used.

Mineral makeup's are a good alternative for those who are allergic to common makeup. Most brands will have bismuth in their products and it can be a problem for many people to buy cheaper, brand makeup, as many people are allergic to this ingredient.

What makes mineral makeup different is that it usually doesn’t include fragrances, synthetic dyes or preservatives. This is why people are choosing to use mineral makeup on a daily basis. Before you buy mineral makeup you should review each makeup brand and see which of the ingredients they include.
